JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaing the training devices, the learning center, technical library, and associated support equipment in appropriate condition to meet student throughout requirements.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Experience leading a multi-shift maintenance team towards common goals.
2) Experience with industry standard training device maintenance practices.
3) Experience with managing training device upgrades and/or modifications.
4) Experience with helping develop, implement, and maintain complex maintenance schedules.
5) Experience in managing personnel schedules within the contraints of contract funding
6) Excellent oral and written skills.
7) Able to react quickly to time critical maintenance requirements in order to meet training device availability requirements
8) Proficient in briefing internal and external customers on status of day-to-day maintenance operations and ongoing or upcoming development/modification/upgrade work

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Master's Degree in an aviation field with no experience or 10+ years of equivalent experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
