JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Manager manages the maintenance production activities supporting the NASA Aircraft Maintenance, Logistics, Integration, Configuration management and Engineering (ALICE) contract. Responsible for attending the daily maintenance meetings and other maintenance planning meetings to obtain workload priorities to disseminate to a cross-discipline of personnel at all three-levels of maintenance. Ensures employees follow all established safety and technical procedures necessary for successful contract performance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Five (5) years’ experience managing aviation, commercial, Government or DoD maintenance production activities.
2) Experience effectively managing a diversified workforce with competing priorities as assigned by the Government.
3) Extensive project management and technical skills.
4) Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
5) Strong and proven team building, team leading and interpersonal skills.
6) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7) Experience with NASA or other Government contracting agencies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
10% Travel.
