JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business/Contract Analyst is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for assigned business areas, to include the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk. This position will provide financial analysis to Project and Program Managers of projects of varying contract types: FFP, T&M, CPAF, CPFF to Project/Program Manager. This position will further project costs and commitments, schedule performance, and monitor contract performance against the baseline for various contracts, as well as, monitor contract and labor category ceilings using Costpoint. The Business/Contract Analyst will also review purchase orders and subcontractor invoices to ensure accurate project reporting, establish project labor workforce in Costpoint and monitor employee labor and travel charging to ensure accuracy in accordance with contract parameters. Additional responsibilities will include the setup up projects in Costpoint in accordance with internal policies and procedures and the contract, the reconciliation of revenue, the review of billings for accuracy and the participation in quarterly Program Management meetings and reviews.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4 -5 years Project Accounting, Analysis and Control Experience
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel skills required)
  • Strong analytical skills – Data Analysis, Pricing, Planning and Program Controls
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and Federal Travel Regulation (FTR)
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
