JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Control Coordinator – Lead manages the maintenance control and coordination activities supporting the NASA Aircraft Maintenance, Logistics, Integration, Configuration management and Engineering (ALICE) contract. Proactively plans, schedules, and supports the Government in establishing workload priorities for a three-tier maintenance program to ensure aircraft and equipment are maintained in the highest state of material condition. Must be able to effectively communicate with a wide-variety of cross-disciplines to provide up-to-date technical information as it applies to an aircraft fleet with over 3,000 line items of assets. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Four (4) years’ experience managing aviation, commercial, Government or DoD maintenance activities.
2) Multitasking with proven short and long-term forecasting skills.
3) Experience effectively managing a diversified workforce with competing priorities.
4) Strong interpersonal, coaching and team building skills.
5) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6) Proficient in briefing internal and external customers on the status of day-to-day operations.
7) Experience with NASA or other Government contracting agencies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
10% Travel
