JOB DESCRIPTION

Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. Documents the components of complex systems using both traditional provisioning-centric and technical manual parts list methods. Analyzes changes to components or systems and documents those changes. Refines the quality of the existing system documentation using company processes and Department of Defense (DoD) supply system information, where available. Leads team of provisioning analysts.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Experience using a provisioning database such as SLICwave, PowerLog, or EAGLE is required
Must be able to read engineering drawings to develop Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists (RPSTLs)
Must be familiar with Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) codes and their meanings, and must be able to determine the appropriate SMR for a given part
Must be proficient using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
Must be able to work in a team environment with customers, technical writers, illustrators, and other personnel to complete assigned tasks
Must be able to read, understand, and follow written processes and procedures
Must have excellent organizational skills, such as setting priorities, working within deadlines, etc
Military experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with XML is a strong plus
Working knowledge of AR 700-18, MIL-STD-1388-1/2, MIL-PRF-49506, and/or GIA-0007 is required
May work in military branches Provisioning Requirements environment
Experience as a team lead is a strong plus
Travel up to 5% required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in logistics, business, or engineering AND a minimum of seven years related experience, which may include military logistics or supply. Three additional years (a total of six years) of task related experience may be used in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Secret security clearance is a plus
