JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems.  Works with internal teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.).  Identifies configuration items, implements change control, performs configuration status accounting and configuration audits.  Regulates the change process so approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, and other assets.  Ability to implement CM discipline for the entire program life cycle of systems from initial requirements, generation of baselines, product deployment and program warranty.
Specific responsibilites include:
        - Provides build management on assigned projects including build activities and troubleshooting, baseline 
          creation and maintenance, branching activities and build scripts.
        - Shall ensure that request for changes and any other required documentation are disseminated to all
          appropriate participants for review and approval.
        - Recommends and implements improvements to build and deployment tools
        - Ensures customer requirements are implemented
        - Creates software configuration management plans
        - Supports software quality assurance process audits
        - Establishes and maintains consistency of platforms and processes to ensure performance and functionality
          against operational baseline throughout program life cycles
        - Support program management in configuration control by developing, interpreting, and implementing 
          configuration management procedures in accordance with company procedures and Government standards

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Must have knowledge of full life cycle Configuration Management practices, software and documentation, including
    identification, planning, control, status accounting, reporting and auditing in a process driven environment.
2) Experience performing configuration management using version control software is required (e.g. Git, Subversion)
3) Experience with build-time dependency management tools (e.g. Ant, Maven) is required.
4) Experience with unit testing and code-coverage tools; test automation techniques and tools; and build automation
    tools (e.g. Jenkins, Hudson) is desired.
5) Experience with MS Office including MS Project is required.
6) Experience controlling and base-lining virtual environments is desired.
7) Experience using JIRA is desired.
8) Experience with SharePoint is desired.
9) Good organizational skills, able to multi-task, solve problems, work independtly and as part of a team

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Associates Degree in equivalent and 2 years of experience is required.
Bachelor Degree in Technical, Engineering or Business related field with 4-5 is desired.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
Travel 10%
