JOB DESCRIPTION
Support all airfield operations projects and activities, responsible for the overall management and execution of fueling services.

Duties include the planning and the overseeing of the into-plane fueling operations, fuel storage and distribution system, equipment maintenance, GSE operation, and any auxiliary services that may be a part of the contract.  This person is responsible for the day-to-day management of all aircraft fueling operations including recruitment, screening, and training of full-time and part-time fueler(s), and maintaining training records.  In addition this person's responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
    - Coordinating the scheduling of manpower needs; ensure after-hours, holiday, and weekend coverage as required to support airfield activities and projects, optimizing efficient utilization of assets and personnel.
    - Ensuring compliance of all fueling safety and quality control measures, comply with ATA 103, OSHA procedures and NASA regulations, and act as the liaison for day-to-day fueling activities.
    - Responsibility for the day-to-day management of fueling vehicles and tank farm/fuel system operation to include PMQC (Preventative maintenance and Quality Control) of fueling assets and vehicle safety.
    - Performing the fueling and de-fueling operations in a safe and efficient manner, ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
    - Maintaining and submitting all fuel records (deliveries, certifications, tank, vehicle, dispensing, sump, etc.)
    - Responsibility for the receipt and dispensing fuel in the tank farm, schedules fuel deliveries to ensure optimal supply for operational requirements.
    - Responsibility for product quality through continuous monitoring and testing of tanks and vehicles.
    - Acting as the liaison with the airfield and environmental regulatory authorities to insure compliance with all applicable regulations.
    - Providing support for all regulatory and NASA audits as directed.
    - Providing support in planning, organizing, managing, and directing airport operations and maintenance activities ensuring compliance with NPR 7900.3, the WFF Airfield Operations Management Manual, as well as applicable FAA Advisory Circulars.
    - Maintaining all records and required.
    - Reviewing, modifying, and developing airfield and fueling procedures as needed or directed.
    - Serving as the alternate to the Assistant Airfield Operations Manager in his/her absence; support as required to include but not limited to: liaison with airfield customers, control tower operators, USDA, Driver Training Program, NOTAMS, PPR's, etc.
    - Other duties as needed, required, or directed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee must have close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.  This position will also be required to work in industrial environments where the noise level ranges from moderate to high and requirees approved hearing protection and other PPE as required.  This job also requires the ability to work in all weather conditions. 

Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 0800-1630.  Additional support hours shall be required as mission dictates. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Must be able to pass NASA background check.
2) Valid driver license-CDL Class A with HAZMAT, Tanker required.
3) Must be able to pass drug test.
4) Must be a U.S. Citizen.
5) Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers to calculate fuel weights, measurements, and volumes.
6) Deals with confidential information or issues using discretion and judgment.
7) Must be able to lift 50 pounds. 
8) CDL Class A- Double/Triple endorsement, preferred. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree and four years of overall experience; or 12 years of equivalent experience. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
American Association of Airport Executives- ACE Airport Operations, preferred.
