JOB DESCRIPTION
The P-3 Pilot remains abreast of local operational policies and procedures at each base in which his services are required. Remains current with industry standards and will all FAA regulatory standards and changes.  Act as pilot in command (PIC) or second in command (SIC) as assigned.  Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft's operation.  Ensure preflight inspections are performed. Prepare (or review) flight plans and study weather conditions for destination, route, alternate airports and departure points. Ability to make decisions necessary for the start, delay or cancelation of flights and/or possible deviation of flight plans based on operating conditions. 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. A minimum of 750 hours in the P-3 aircraft, 2,500 hours total flight time.
2. Must be able to travel on short notice, possibly weekends and/or holidays.
3. Strong time management skills required.
4. Ability to adapt with a high attention to detail in order to acquire new skills rapidly.
5. Strong customer service skills in addition to excellent follow-through and responsiveness.
6. Be able to perform any normal, abnormal or emergency duties.
7. Be available on a part-time basis according to mission requirements.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
Must be able to maintain a FAA First Class Medical.
Must have a restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Permit.
An L-188 Type Rating is desired
Must have a valid Driver's License and US Passport
100% Travel
