JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Controller is responsible to Maintenance Control for coordinating, forecasting and providing quality and timely material support of components through the Intermediate “I” and Depot “D” level of maintenance.  Ensures material needs are known to support both short and long-term requirements for the aircraft fleet with over 3,000 line items of assets. Assigns logistics/backshop priorities to ensure no mission impacts. Responsible for monitoring component repair capabilities and making repair/no-repair recommendations to the Government. Position will be in support of the NASA Aircraft Maintenance, Logistics, Integration, Configuration Management and Engineering (ALICE) contract.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1) Three (3) years’ experience in managing aviation commercial, Government or DoD maintenance activities.
2) Must be able to communicate effectively with Maintenance Control and Logistics.
3) Must be able to multi-task and communicate with various cross-disciplines within the Aircraft Operation Division (AOD).
4) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5) Experience with NASA or other Government contracting agencies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
10% Travel.
