JOB DESCRIPTION
The logistics manager plans, directs, and coordinates the purchasing, warehousing, distribution, forecasting of aircraft parts and equipment, and related services.  This role analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of the contract.  These responsibilites address the life cycle of products, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal.  This role also manages logistical personnel and systems, as well as, directs the daily operations.  The Logistics Manager monitors organizational compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations and manages government equipment and inventory assigned to the contract.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1) Proven track record of completing projects on schedule, within budget, with satisfied customers.
2) Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
3) Good presentation, leadership and management skills.
4) Excellent internal and external negotiation skills.
5) Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
6) Experience working with government contracting.
7) Experience with Non-Standard rotary wing platforms, desired.
8) Aviation acquisition and/or FMS experience, desired.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or Business and 5 years of Logistics experience
Master's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or Business, preferred.
Rotary Wing Aviation experience, preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
U.S. Citizen
25% Travel
Ability to maintain/obtain Secret Clearance
