JOB DESCRIPTION - Remains abreast of local operational policies and procedures at each base in which the candidate's services are required. - Remains current with industry standards - Remains current with all FAA regulatory standards and changes - Act as pilot in command (PIC) or second in command (SIC) as assigned - Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft's operation - Ensure preflight inspections are performed - Study weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points - Prepare flight plans (or review flight plans prepared by a scheduler dispatcher or outside provider) - Make decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate - While on duty, remain available to crew and departmental staff through company cell phones and email - Complete annual departmental and Corporate training - Work nonstandard schedule which may include weekends and holidays - Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, adaptable, excellent follow-through and responsiveness SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 1) A minimum of 750 hours in the P-3 aircraft, 2,500 hours total flight time 2) Must be able to travel on short notice 3) Strong time management skills required 4) Ability to adapt and acquire new skills rapidly 5) Strong written and oral communication skills required 6) Must be able to maintain a FAA First Class Medical 7) Be able to perform any normal, abnormal or emergency duties 8) Restricted Radio-Telephone Operator Permit 9) L-188 Type Rating Desired 10) Valid Driver's License 11) Valid U.S. Passport EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.) 1) U.S. Citizen ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Pinnacle Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
