JOB DESCRIPTION

Pinnacle Solutions is looking for a motivated, experienced Software Engineer to join our Virtual and Web-Based Programs Team. Our team is developing 3D Interactive training for civilian and government customers around the world. Our applications range from serious games built in Unity to database driven, web applications to full-motion aircraft simulators. The ideal candidate is a senior developer looking for new and exciting opportunities with the potential for growth.

As an engineer on our team, you will initially be tasked to drive the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of one of our virtual learning products. You will be implementing new technologies, optimizing existing solutions, and developing modular, testable code. You will be required to interact with a team of 3D artists, multi-media designers, instructional system designers, and software engineers to create world-class products. Our team and company are experiencing significant growth, and there are multiple opportunities for advancement.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required

1. Proven experience developing, and maintaining a commercial or government software product.
2. Strong knowledge of Object oriented programming concepts and Design Patterns required.
3. Experience successfully working in a software development team required.
4. Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter and able to work under pressure.
5. Proficiency with C#, Java, Python, or other equivalent programming language required.
6. Candidate must be effective in communicating with technical and non-technical customers alike.

Preferred

1. Experience with modern MVC frameworks such as CakePHP, Angular, or ASP.net highly desired.
2. Familiarity with Git or other version control system highly desired.
3. Familiarity with Agile development and traditional software development life cycles desired.
4. Familiarity with database schema design, queries, and performance desired.
5. Web development experience to include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline and 2 years of experience OR 8 years experience in a related field

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

• Ability to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance is required.
• Must be a US citizen.
