JOB DESCRIPTION

Pinnacle is looking for software engineering interns to support our Virtual and Web-Based programs team in the development of Serious Games, Virtual Laboratories, and Virtual Maintenance/Operator Training for aviation and ground vehicle platforms! The selected candidates will work with experienced engineers and support the entire software engineering lifecycle following Pinnacle’s Software Development Plan (SDP). This includes all phases of requirements analysis, designs, development and test. The selected candidate will also document and debug software applications.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1) Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
2) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications is required
3) Exposure to object-oriented programming concepts and the C/C++/C# language is desired
4) Solid verbal and written communication skills are desired
5) Demonstrated team work experience is desired
6) Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
7) Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus
8) Demonstrated professional, community, and/or extracurricular activities are desired

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be a student who is in enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
Must be majoring in an engineering or computer science related field.
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Must be available to work 20 hours/per week during normal business hours from May 6, 2018 through August 10, 2018.
Must be a US citizen
