JOB DESCRIPTION

Pinnacle Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to support multiple Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) products. The ISD will be the primary internal Subject matter Expert with regards to courseware development and will collaborate with the development team members in regards to system design, student activities, and lesson plan integration. The ISD will contribute to all phases of program development including requirements definition, design, integration, and code and unit test. Pinnacle prides itself on developing unique applications and developing innovative ways to deliver training. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to develop creative strategies for instructional systems design. Candidate must be able to interface effectively with members of the development team as well as external customers in both government and higher education.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1) Minimum of 2 years experience in Instructional Systems Design for government or higher education.
2) Knowledge of SCORM required.
3) Knowledge of 508 Compliance required.
4) Serious Game Development experience is a plus.
5) Experience with Adobe Captivate 9 desired (Captivate 2017 is a plus).
6) Demonstrate ability to develop flow charts, use-case diagrams and storyboards is required
7) Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles required.
8) Experience working with virtual interactive environments to deliver training a plus.
9) Excellent communication skills to include the ability to interface with development team members, management, and customers in different fields.
10) Proficiency with MS Office applications required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study or an Associate's degree and 2 additional years of relevant experience or a HS diploma and 4 additional years of experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be capable of obtaining/maintaining a Secret security clearance.
Travel up to 15% required
