JOB DESCRIPTION

Pinnacle Solutions is looking for a motivated, Junior Level Software Engineer to join our Virtual and Web-Based Programs Team. Our team is developing 3D Interactive training for civilian and government customers around the world. Our applications range from serious games built in Unity to database driven, web applications to full-motion aircraft simulators. The ideal candidate is passionate about building great software and delivering innovative technologies.

As an engineer on our team, you will initially drive the implementation, testing, and deployment of one of our virtual learning products. You will explore and implement new technologies and incorporate them into existing products. You will be required to interact with a team of 3D artists, multi-media designers, instructional system designers, and software engineers to create world-class products.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required

1. Strong knowledge of Object oriented programming concepts and Design Patterns required.
2. Candidate must be a motivated, self-starter and able to work under pressure.
3. Proficiency with C#, Java, Python, or other equivalent programming language required.

Preferred

1. Experience with modern MVC frameworks such as CakePHP, Angular, or ASP.net highly desired.
2. Familiarity with database schema design, queries, and performance desired.
3. Familiarity with Git or other version control system desired.
4. Web development experience to include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
5. Unity Game Development environment experience a plus.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline and 1 year of experience OR 7 years experience in a related field

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

• Ability to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance is required.
• Must be a US citizen.
