JOB DESCRIPTION

Pinnacle Solutions is seeking a motivated Courseware Developer to join our Virtual and Web-Based Programs Team. Our team is developing Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) products for multiple US and foreign military, higher institution, and government customers. We create maintenance and operator training for aircraft and ground vehicles, simulate learning environments for universities, and design serious games.

The Courseware Developer will be responsible for bringing training to life. The candidate will utilize storyboards and learning objectives to design virtual training for our customers. The development environment will primarily be an eLearning platform such as Adobe Captivate or Lectora but could range from HTML and CSS to the Unity 3-D Gaming Engine. Candidate must be able to interface effectively with members of the development team to include Software Engineers, 3-D Artists, Multi-Media Designers, and Instructional Systems Designers.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required

1. Excellent communication skills including ability to interface with development team members.
2. Proficiency with MS Office applications.
3. Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Preferred

1. Demonstrated team experience is highly desired.
2. Experience testing and reviewing developed products.
3. Web development experience such as HTML 5, CSS, or JavaScript.
4. Experience with eLearning software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or equivalent.
5. Hands on experience utilizing government Interactive Multimedia Instruction.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Associate’s Degree in related discipline and 1 year of experience OR 3 years experience in related field.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance is required.
• Must be a US citizen.
