JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for managing the aircraft Quality Program at assigned location/project. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the inspection and testing of aircraft, equipment, parts, supplies and materials. Provides technical assistance, interprets technical data, and evaluates maintenance actions to ensure safe and reliable aircraft, components, and equipment is provided in accordance with current technical publications and directives. Reviews technical publications, directives, reports, and subsequent revisions and confers with quality assurance, maintenance, management, and engineering personnel to solve work-related problems. Inspects and reviews maintenance source documents, inspection records, and other related forms used in aircraft, vehicle, and equipment maintenance to ensure forms and records are current, and comply with established procedures, Army directives, and contract specifications. Implements and enforces quality policies and procedures that meet the requirements of ISO 9001/AS9110.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

10 Years experience in aircraft maintenance; 5 years experience in rotory or fixed wing aircraft quality inspection under TAMMS.
FAA A& P required.
CH-47D/F or MH-47E/G experience required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma or equivalent required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Must be a US Citizen.
