JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides overall leadership and management of the Quality Control Section and manages subordinate Technical Inspectors. Answers directly to the Quality Control Manager. Ensures compliance with all quality control procedures IAW ATP 3-04.7, which includes aircraft component inspections, shop safety inspections, aircraft weighing requirements, publications management, forms/ records management, maintenance procedures, quality control support for maintenance equipment and programs. Ensures all directives, SOFs, ASAMs, AMAMs, and MIMs are read, complied with, and filed. Enforces maintenance procedures for strict compliance with the technical manuals. Shall provide training to subordinates as required. Initiates and manages Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR).
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three years of UAS Quality Control experience, of which two years shall be commensurate with a Quality Control Officer, having a minimum of 4 years’ documented experience on the Shadow UAS. May also have honorably served in a comparable career path in other military service branches or DoD elements in the Aviation Community or UAS Civilian Industry. Shall possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent
2. Associate Degree is preferred
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Shall possess and maintain a Secret Security clearance
