JOB DESCRIPTION

**This requisition is for those CURRENTLY employed on WFF contract in support of the FLOAMS mission support section at the UAS Training Battalion, Ft Huachuca, AZ. Employment Contingent Upon Contract Award**

Individuals serving as UAS Mission Support Tech may perform duties in any, or all of the following areas:

1) Flight Observer Operations.
2) Participation in Downed Aircraft Recovery Teams.
3) Securing Ranges.
4) Provide Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant (POL) support.
5) Site Maintenance.
6) Minor construction.
7) Participates in special projects as required
8) May be selected to lead or supervise teams or projects

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

1) CURRENTLY employed in the FLOAMS (FLOSS) section at Ft Huachuca, AZ (others apply to different req posting) 
2) 2 years flight line (or similar) support experience
3) Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience
4) Ability to perform general construction tasks. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Knowledge of relevant tools and equipment
5) Ability to perform basic functions in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
6) Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, ascend and descend stairs; stand for an extended period of time up to at least 50 minutes and walk at least 100 meters across uneven or unpaved surfaces
7) Must be able to support shift work while working outdoors in all weather conditions
8) Must be a US Citizen

Preferred: 

1) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a HAZMAT and tanker endorsement 
2) Ability to obtain a Class II FAA Airmans Physical
3) Familiarity with ISO- certified Quality Management System; OSHA safety requirements 
4) Prior experience in Manned/Unmanned Aircraft Systems or training support and flight line operations
5) Fuel handling experience 
6) Current active US Secret Clearance

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Graduate, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or work/military experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Ability to participate in training and/or certification to properly respond to aircraft recovery operations, HAZMAT response, and Laser safety. 
Ability to acquire and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a HAZMAT and tanker endorsement.
Travel up to 10% required.
