JOB DESCRIPTION

Must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned. Will also be proficient in the use of the current maintenance management system utilized to maintain Army aircraft forms and records. Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections. Computes basic weight and balance records. Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required. Ensures compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration. Provides lower level technicians guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards and operational policies. Prepares evaluations, special reports, and records pertaining to aircraft maintenance repair and related activities. Must be capable of qualifying to perform Hazardous Flight duties as Crewmembers/Non-Crewmembers. Personnel filling these positions are required to meet the qualifications in AR 95-20.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

8 Years direct experience in aircraft maintenance; military technical school or an Airframe & Power plant (A&P) License.
CH-47D/F or MH-47E/G experience required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma Required.
Desired:Technical or Military School Training FAA license/certification/EASA/ICAO equivalent

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Must be a US Citizen.
