JOB DESCRIPTION

Acting as the price volume lead, develop and implement pricing strategies.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  
Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), etc., design, develop, and prepare price proposals, narratives, and content.
When required/directed, perform the duties of Price Volume Lead, which includes establishing Price Volume development schedules/milestones and reviews.
When Pinnacle is the Prime contractor, develop pricing data calls as required for teaming partners and coordinate the integration of their pricing with Pinnacle’s price proposal.

Develop and/or support price/cost/wage analyses.
Develop pricing and financial models/templates using Excel.
Ensure price proposals are compliant with RFP requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Assist in identifying pricing strategies and business risks.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires strong verbal, writing, organizational, and Excel spreadsheet skills.  This position also requires close coordination  with several other departments, including Business Development, Functional Business Areas, Contracts, and Finance & Accounting.

Required skills:
Organizational ability and strong analytical, decision making, and communication skills
At least five years of proven experience in pricing, budgeting/forecasting, and/or data analysis
Must be proficient in MS Excel (6+ on a 1 to 10 scale)
Must be proficient in MS Word (5+ on 1 to 10 scale)
Must have a thorough understanding of indirect rate build-up and the application of indirect rates on labor, materials, and ODCs
Must have experience in Federal government contracting and an understanding of acquisition regulations

Desired skills:
Supporting/responding to Pricing Audits

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma or equivalent and 9 years of applicable experience required. 
Bachelor's degree  and 5 years of applicable experience preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

Travel up to 10% required.
