JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs logistical support functions in support of CH47 MAT operations. Ensures equipment operational readiness rates are met by means of ordering, accounting, stocking, issuing, transferring, and receipt of spares and consumable parts and equipment assigned by the customer. Maintains technical supply and warehouses inventories and performs automated parts operations. 
Duties/responsibilities:
1. Order, receive, inspect, stow, preserve, package, ship, and issue materials/cargo.
2. Unload incoming inventory; stock inventory onto shelf locations; pickup inventory.
3. Prepare repair shipments to OEM; assembles kits; provide customer service at service window/desk, for issues/returns.
4. Prepare and maintain required forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files; ensure proper documentation for accuracy; meet on-time metrics.
5. Load and unload material within a warehouse or storage facility; utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft and within the storage facility.
6. Monitor aircraft time-change components schedule to ensure replacement components are ordered in a timely manner to meet the customer flying hour and maintenance requirements.
7. Monitor the repairable exchange program and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
8. Ensure that all related parts supply operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
9. Analyze inventory levels, production speed, and item demand to determine reorder levels to ensure stock availability and minimize inventory costs.
10. Inspects goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications; perform quality control; report immediately to supervisor any delivery inconsistencies or delays and quarantine parts that fail inspection.
11. Analyze and select materials for packaging based on durability and cost-effectiveness to include HAZMAT and oversized/overweight items.
12. Train potential customer personnel to develop and maintain an effective supply/parts management regime.
13. Be prepared to assist in scheduling of training events; obtain instructional materials; perform administrative duties related to training development.
14. All other duties as assigned. Other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements.
2. Army supply chain certification or civilian equivalent desired.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Participates in meetings and conferences, as required.
5. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
6. Ability to deal effectively with people in the supervision of potential training of students.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
8. Strong organizational and work management skills.
9. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
10. Possess a valid state or government-issued driver’s license.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES: Minimum of 5 years of broad-based experience in the fields of supply, distribution, warehousing, and packaging.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's Degree preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)

US Citizenship required.
